As a teacher......

I am given a great privilege to teach Sunday school: The Intermediate (Grade 4 - Grade 6) and The Youth (Grade 7- Grade 12).
As I think look back on the 20 devotions that I shared with my youth, I eagerly want to also share it in this blog.
Now that facebook can receive my blog updates, people are able to read and comment on it through facebook.
Some people asked me if I was going to be a Pastor.
Well, I have no idea if this is what God is calling me to.
For now, I do want to finish my degree at SFU, which is going to take some time.
However, I do have the great desire to teach the Bible to everyone.
At the same time, I am learning and growing in my walk with Christ.
For now, I do have the desire to teach the youth.
I do look forward to seeing them grow in the knowledge of Scripture, yet that is not really my desire.
My desire is to look forward in seeing them coming to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord.
My desire is to look forward in seeing them becoming soldiers for Christ.
Growing and Maturing as they faithfully and closely walk with Christ
THEN, I look forward to seeing them grow in the knowledge of Scripture, convicted by God's words through the power of the Holy Spirit, and being transformed by Him each day.
I do look forward in hearing them and teaching me what they have learned.
Teaching is not easy.
I have to know where they are at in their understanding of Scripture.
I have to take time and plan lessons.
I have to be-careful of what I teach so it doesn't become a heresy.
I have to be humble.
However, I am glad that I am not alone.
With few more other faithful servants serving the youth is a great benefit.
"Love the people and Love the subject."

I'll be attending the annual youth retreat on Friday.
Will be back on Sunday.
Looking forward to it =)
